|Type of Meal||Description|
|Asian vegetarian||does not contain fish, shellfish, meat, poultry or eggs. It is a meatless meal and spicy in content|
|Lacto ovo vegetarian||does not contain meat, fish or seafood. May contain dairy products such as milk, butter, cheese, etc|
|Hindu||does not contain beef, meat derivatives, veal or pork, but is not a vegetarian meal. Please request an Asian vegetarian meal if you do not wish to eat meat|
|Muslim||does not contain pork, by-products of pork or foodstuffs containing alcohol. All meats come from ritually slaughtered animals|
|Kosher||meals are prepared to comply with Jewish dietary laws|
|Baby meal||Baby food will be provided on request. However, parents are advised to bring their usual powdered milk which can be prepared and heated on the aircraft|
|Child meal||contains a combination of familiar and fun foods. Available on all services for children aged 2 - 12 years|
Meals should be booked 48 hours in advance as only limited supplies of extra meals are carried.
If you have special dietary requirements, let us know in advance and we will provide you with a suitable meal. You can request a special or medical meal through Manage Booking .
If you're traveling on a standby or waitlist basis, you will not be able to request a medical meal.
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for all medical meal requests. Unfortunately, variations of the meal request cannot be accepted, as we are unable to guarantee delivery across our network. Also, requests for specific items such as lobster, steak, caviar, or fruit plate made for personal preference cannot be accepted.

|Bland||For those with digestive tract and stomach disorders. Excludes mustard, pickles, garlic, fried and fatty food|
|Diabetic||For those who need to manage blood sugar levels. Foods excluded are sugars, syrups, jams, cakes and chocolate, unless specifically for diabetics|
|Fresh fruit platter||A single fresh fruit plate. Restricted availability on some European flights|
|Gluten free||Foods excluded are wheat or wheat flour, barley oats and rye, bread, cakes (unless wheat free), pastry, sausages or any flour based products|
|Low calorie||A low calorie diet should not contain excessive protein portions and the meal is low in fat and sugar.
|Low cholesterol||High fiber meal with reduced amounts of fat|
|Low sodium/salt||Excludes use of salt, MSG and baking soda/powder. Herbs and spices are used to flavor the meal|
|Lactose-free||Excludes cheese, dairy products and their derivatives and lactose or milk products|
All OpenSkies aircraft carry a comprehensive medical kit which includes medication for the treatment of anaphylaxis. However, if you suffer from an allergy, you should carry your own medication as prescribed by your doctor and ensure it is readily available while on board. Parents/guardians/travel companions are expected to administer treatment if required.
