Getting ready for a trip / Airport departure

Departing from New York - Newark Terminal B

The OpenSkies check-in counters are located in Terminal B at lower level. The desks will open 2 hours and 30 minutes before departure and close 50 minutes before departure.

All passengers are welcome to the lounge, which is located before the security point.

If you arrive at the boarding gate after the gate has closed, you will not be able to board the flight.

Departing from Paris - Orly Sud

Enter the Orly Sud Terminal through Door E on the departures level. Proceed directly toward the steps that lead to the departure gate area, immigration and security checks. You will find the OpenSkies check-in area on your right, just before the staircase.

We use check-in desks 86-88. The desks open 2 hours and 30 minutes before scheduled departure time and should be clearly signposted. The desks close 50 minutes before departure.

Once you have completed check in, proceed up the stairs, to the International Departures Immigration and Security Check area.

Those traveling in Biz Bed and Biz Seat or those holding British Airways Premier, Gold or Silver Cards should continue on to the Icare lounge, which is located after the personal and baggage security checks. You will find the Icare lounge on the left hand side almost directly opposite gate A10. The walk will take you past a number of duty free shops and takes less than 5 minutes. When your flight is called, please proceed to the boarding gate. We usually depart from gate A12. It takes approximately 2-3 minutes to walk there from the lounge.
